VP Python Tech Lead

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and implement robust Python-based solutions for complex business processes.
• Extract and analyze data from both structured and unstructured sources.
• Solve high-impact problems involving financial data with a focus on credit risk management.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation across the system flow.
• Implement Unit Testing and Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure software quality.
• Integrate LLM and GenAI models to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Write and utilize shell scripts and other Linux features for system operations.
• Ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint and infrastructure goals.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable and reliable applications.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
• Experience with GenAI and LLM projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with distributed data/computing tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and MySQL.
• Experience writing shell scripts and utilizing Linux features.
• Background in financial business areas like banking or risk management.
• Ability to implement Unit Testing and TDD to ensure software quality.
