As a Cloud FinOps & Infrastructure Automation Engineer at Walmart/VIZIO, you will join a team focused on multi-cloud infrastructure, financial governance, and operational reliability. Your primary responsibilities include designing automated solutions for cloud cost optimization across AWS, GCP, and Azure, implementing migration strategies, and ensuring security compliance through automation. You’ll leverage Terraform and Terragrunt to build scalable Infrastructure as Code, develop Python and Bash scripts for automation, and integrate these into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins. This role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure, proficiency in FinOps engineering, cloud cost optimization, and a deep understanding of security principles across providers. Your work will significantly impact Walmart/VIZIO’s multi-cloud future by ensuring financial responsibility, operational excellence, and secure infrastructure practices.
Design and implement automated FinOps solutions to optimize cloud spend across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Build cost allocation frameworks and enforce tagging standards for financial governance in multi-cloud environments.
Support cloud migration initiatives from AWS to GCP and Azure by analyzing workloads and planning migrations.
Develop Python and Bash automation scripts for operational workflows and infrastructure lifecycle management.
Partner with Security teams to automate remediation of cloud security findings across multiple providers.
What we're looking for
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure in cloud migration contexts.
Proven expertise in FinOps engineering, cost optimization, and financial governance across multiple cloud providers.
Deep knowledge of Terraform and practical use of Terragrunt for multi-environment management.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for operational automation and tooling development.
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and experience with SecOps workflows.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Finance, Security, and Engineering teams.
