As a Tier 3 MLOPs Engineer, you will join a collaborative Agile development team to manage Tier 3 incidents and build cloud software and infrastructure supporting machine learning and AI. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting software for national security, developing internal knowledge base articles, establishing escalation paths for operational triage, and identifying solutions for complex technical problems. You will work within the ML lifecycle to develop an MLOps ecosystem while translating between technical and non-technical users. The role requires expertise in generative AI technologies like Claude, GPT, and Gemini, along with experience in system administration, test and evaluation, and incident management workflows. Preferred skills include Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Git, and IaC tools such as Helm and Terraform to build, containerize, and deploy automated data and ML pipelines within a cloud environment.
Manage Tier 3 incidents and handle the incident management workflow for complex technical problems.
Build and maintain cloud software and infrastructure that supports machine learning and AI programs.
Develop an MLOps ecosystem based on knowledge of the machine learning lifecycle.
Create internal knowledge base articles and establish escalation paths for operational triage.
Design, containerize, and deploy end-to-end automated data and ML pipelines in a cloud environment.
Troubleshoot software specifically for national security applications.
Translate technical concepts between developers and non-technical users.
What we're looking for
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in a system administration operations environment.
2+ years of experience in generative AI concepts and technologies such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini.
2+ years of experience working in a system administration operations environment.
2+ years of experience with Tier II and Tier III support and incident management workflow.
2+ years of experience working with test and evaluation.
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and ability to translate between technical and non-technical users (preferred); Python, AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, LLM prompt engineering, and Git experience (preferred).
