What you'll do

Plan and develop thermal cycle and thermal-vacuum testing campaigns for satellite components.
Develop data acquisition systems and instrumentation for thermal tests.
Design thermal test fixtures, power/data harnesses, and necessary interfaces.
Develop heaters and their corresponding controllers for testing environments.
Size and select cooling systems for in-air testing applications.
Drive test automation to support high volume production.
Participate in design reviews to align mechanical designs with verification activities.
Execute test campaigns to provide actionable data for spacecraft design iterations.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
At least 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with thermal cycle and thermal-vacuum testing for spacecraft components.
Proficiency in CAD systems such as NX or SolidWorks to design test fixtures and manufacturing drawings.
Experience developing data acquisition systems and instrumentation for thermal and power applications.
Experience in automating test execution and interfacing with facility hardware.
Ability to develop test plans, procedures, and review requirements to support verification.
A Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
