What you'll do

Develop agentic AI workflows integrated with TCAD and FEA tools to automate device physics and mechanical property analysis.
Construct realistic virtual stack-ups through process simulation to provide design guidance on film characteristics and reliability.
Perform AI-incorporated failure analysis and characterization to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Deploy AI-enhanced compact models like SPICE and Verilog-A to capture complex TFT behaviors and lifetime degradation.
Manage the TFT process for various backplanes from research and development through mass production.
Coordinate with display manufacturers to transition technologies from the development stage to mass production.
Conduct fundamental studies to identify and evaluate future candidate TFT technologies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
Experience in the TFT industry.
Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics (preferred).
M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics plus 4 years of TFT industry experience (preferred).
Hands-on, in-depth technical knowledge and a proven track record in developing various TFT technologies (preferred).
Strong device physics background on various TFT technologies including a-Si, oxide, and LTPS (preferred).
Sound understanding of overall display manufacturing control, yield improvement, and reliability requirements (preferred).
