Telecomms Apprentice III-I

What you'll do

• Perform basic installation and acceptance testing of telecommunications equipment and systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electronic and optical infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for all work performed in the field.
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of test equipment and safety gear.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and updating electrical prints related to telecom technologies.

What we're looking for

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred in electrical engineering technology, electronic technology, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and perform entry-level technical support skills in telecommunications technologies.
• Valid state driver’s license required; must be able to travel overnight and daily for work as needed.
• Strong aptitude in electronics/telecommunications essential; must adhere to safety rules and environmental compliance practices.
• Ability to read, understand, and update electronic and electrical prints, diagrams, and asset records related to telecom equipment.
• Must operate tools and equipment necessary for job duties, maintain accurate records, and assist others as requested.
