Telecomms Apprentice III-I

What you'll do

• Perform basic installation and acceptance testing of telecommunications equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and optical systems under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and update documentation for all work performed.
• Inspect and maintain test equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of electrical prints and diagrams related to telecom.
• Operate necessary tools and equipment for job duties efficiently.
• Complete assigned training programs to develop technical support skills.

What we're looking for

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn entry-level technical support skills in telecommunications.
• Valid state driver’s license required and must maintain throughout employment.
• Strong aptitude in electronics/telecommunications essential for success.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills necessary for documentation.
• Adaptable to changing work schedules, call-outs, and planned overtime.
