What you'll do

  • Conduct competitive research and development in quantum networking.
  • Define and execute R&D prototype development plans for quantum technologies.
  • Develop novel quantum solutions focusing on entanglement sources and switches.
  • Lead use case demonstrations and contribute to the Cisco Live quantum network testbed.
  • Write peer-reviewed papers and present research results at conferences.
  • Analyze experimental results, proposing improvements for quantum networking systems.

What we're looking for

  • PhD in Physics, Optics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in quantum communication or quantum optics post-PhD.
  • 3+ years of experience in experimental research in quantum or classical optical communication.
  • Experience leading research projects and publishing papers on top journals and conferences.
  • Research track record in quantum computing and/or quantum networking.
