Join the Charles River IMS team as a senior software engineer in an agile scrum environment, where you will independently drive technical excellence by analyzing and developing complex software solutions using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and other languages. You’ll collaborate with business analysts to create sustainable software for intricate problems, provide thought leadership on product architecture, and conduct code reviews while adhering to CRD’s scrum methodology. With a focus on Spring Boot Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud deployment, you will mentor junior staff, troubleshoot mission-critical issues, and advise senior management on technical strategy in the financial services domain, particularly for portfolio management and trading solutions.
Drive technical excellence by independently analyzing and developing complex software solutions.

Resolve advanced software technical issues for projects or major phases of work.
Develop high-quality software programs using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and other languages.
Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high quality end product.

What we're looking for
Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience
Experience with Spring Boot Microservices and cloud deployment
Understanding of microservice architectures and Kubernetes
Knowledge working with Kafka and message-based systems
Demonstrated ability to design complex business solutions
Authoritative experience in object-oriented programming and databases
Strong problem-solving skills for multi-tiered applications
