As a Systems Software Engineer, Platform Architecture, you will join the Platform Architecture group to connect hardware and software into one unified system. You will also utilize knowledge of HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, operating systems, and container technologies like Docker or Podman. Additionally, you will apply expertise in cloud security, authentication frameworks, and potentially use AI agents or LLMs to support next-generation silicon engineering workflows.

What you'll do

Develop and support new technologies for cloud, data center, and silicon development prototypes.
Support world-leading silicon engineering teams on the development of next-generation chips.
Analyze internal customer requirements to propose features and ecosystem changes that streamline workflows.
Maintain and improve the team's codebase, service architecture, and developer tools.
Ensure a high quality bar for software to maintain optimal development velocity.
Lead deliverables independently across different engineering teams.
Debug complex systems to ensure platform stability and performance.

What we're looking for

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Experience with programming in Go, Swift, or C++.
Experience with scripting in Python or Bash.
Experience debugging complex systems.
3+ years of relevant industry experience (preferred).
Understanding and practical experience with HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, and operating systems (preferred).
Good understanding of Cloud security concepts and knowledge of Authentication/Authorization frameworks and tools (preferred).
Knowledge of containers such as Docker, Podman, or Apple Container; AI Agents/LLMs; and Silicon workflows (preferred).
