Systems Engineering Associate Manager for Configuration Management

What you'll do

• Supervise direct reports and manage employee recruitment, training, and performance.
• Establish priorities and work assignments for the Flight Operations Support Configuration Management team.
• Ensure effective configuration management of products to achieve mission success with zero defects.
• Coordinate deliveries with external teams and support rotating on-call anomaly recall duties.
• Provide program status reporting to leadership and maintain active interfaces with OPS and Development customers.

What we're looking for

• Active DOD Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with OPIR Configuration Management NGG Ground Systems and security protocols.
• Operations experience with mission-critical systems, including anomaly support and root cause analysis.
• Employee management skills: recruitment, training, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for management-level briefings.
• Willingness and ability to operate in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.
