Experience with Red Hat Linux environments, OpenNMS, and advanced CLI troubleshooting is highly desirable.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and configure computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, document issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and active directory administration.
  • Monitor device health using management tools and respond to hardware issues.
  • Implement Windows-based security measures including user/group permissions and policies.

What we're looking for

  • BS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years in IT.
  • Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNASecurity, GSEC, SSCP).
  • Expertise in Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu), Windows systems, and virtualization technologies like VMware.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, storage, data protection, disaster recovery, and TCP/IP suite.
  • Experience with scripting/automation, server patch management, and support ticket management systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and oral/written communication abilities.
