What you'll do

  • Curate and define AI workloads that represent real user experiences across different market segments.
  • Design experiments to measure and analyze performance metrics for AI experiences.
  • Run AI workloads across diverse hardware and software to build data-informed insights.
  • Analyze system behavior to connect performance numbers to underlying hardware and software characteristics.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, memory, storage, and thermals.
  • Present technical findings and actionable narratives to executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor latest developments in AI models, frameworks, accelerators, and device features.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
  • Experience in performance measurement, analysis, debug, and optimization using software profiling tools like VTune, Nsight, uProf, WPA, or HWInfo.
  • Experience curating, running, and interpreting AI/ML workloads and benchmarks using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT/CUDA, or OpenVINO.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in performance analysis (preferred).
  • Understanding of hardware that accelerates AI/ML, including GPUs, NPUs, and memory/bandwidth factors (preferred).
  • Understanding of OS fundamentals and system-level performance, including performance, power, and thermal profiling tools (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems (preferred).
