As a SysDev Engineer II on the Network Operations Center team within Leo Networking Software at Amazon, you will support tier 1 network operations for software-defined services across global satellite networks. What you'll do

Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents including connectivity issues and performance degradation.
Deploy and onboard network capabilities across regions, ensuring monitoring and testing of new infrastructure.
Enhance operational procedures by building tools and developing best practices for network operations.
Manage severity 2 and 3 tickets during on-call rotations to ensure continuous service availability.
Monitor network performance to maintain maximum efficiency and uptime for customer workloads.

What we're looking for

4+ years of technical support and network engineering experience in large-scale corporate networks.
Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and cloud networking concepts.
Experience with network monitoring and automation scripting using SQL, Python, or Bash.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network issues including connectivity problems and performance degradation.
