What you'll do

  • Develop new aircraft products using first principle methods and design tools.
  • Design primary and secondary structural parts from preliminary to prototype manufacturing.
  • Conduct complex finite element analysis for strength, buckling, damage tolerance, and delamination.
  • Apply design for manufacturing concepts to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform trade studies to determine optimal engineering solutions for weight, performance, etc.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of aerospace structures experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software and structural modeling/simulation tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN)
  • Strong expertise in material properties, stress analysis, fatigue assessment, and hand calculations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Self-driven with autonomy and adaptability for dynamic project requirements
  • Secret security clearance required
