As an Aerodynamics Engineer at the Air Dominance and Strike Aerodynamics Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing advanced aerodynamic systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms throughout their full development lifecycle. Your daily tasks include conducting aerodynamic design and analysis using both low and high-order methods, developing and improving analysis tools, performing stability and control analysis, aircraft performance modeling, wind tunnel testing, and flight test planning and execution. You will need a BS or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years of experience, strong programming skills in MATLAB or Python, and proficiency in aerodynamic analysis techniques such as CFD. Experience with StarCCM+, missile DATCOM, OTIS, DYMOS, and wind tunnel testing is preferred. This role demands a Secret security clearance and involves working on complex systems for high-stakes environments.

What we're looking for

BS or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering required.
3+ years of experience as an individual contributing engineer.
Experience with aircraft performance and analysis predictions.
Proficient in aerodynamic analysis techniques including CFD, hand calculations, etc.
Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python for internal tool development.
Wind tunnel and flight test experience, including data acquisition and analysis.
Secret security clearance required.
