Strategic Commodity Manager 5

What you'll do

• Develop and implement long-range commodity strategies for 3+ years.
• Make material sourcing decisions to meet cost, quality, and lead time goals.
• Onboard new suppliers by evaluating capabilities and financial risks.
• Evaluate supplier reliability and develop alternative supply sources as needed.
• Forecast cost impacts and negotiate pricing changes with suppliers.
• Implement stocking strategies to mitigate future supply chain risks.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of supply chain or operations experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Develop and implement long-range commodity strategies and supplier onboarding processes.
• Evaluate supplier reliability and develop new supply sources to ensure competitive advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills for managing commodity spend and mitigating price increases.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a history of successful resolution in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for cross-functional collaboration.
