What you'll do

Lead the technical design, prototyping, and implementation of new products and software enhancements.
Manage all phases of the development cycle from initial concept to production release.
Write and review high-quality code while ensuring it meets industry best practices and standards.
Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability, security, and performance.
Perform system analysis and research to deliver timely software solutions into production environments.
Create and review technical documentation and influence the definition of departmental standards.
Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues to provide timely resolutions for existing applications.
Lead cross-functional meetings to present technical options and advocate for optimal engineering solutions.

What we're looking for

Minimum 9 years of experience in software development.
Minimum 4 years of experience with C#.
Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
Experience with design patterns and/or SOLID principles.
Must reside within 70 miles of an office in Allen, Birmingham, Cedar Falls, Charlotte, Lenexa, Louisville, Monett, or Springfield.
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
Experience with GCP or other cloud technologies (preferred).
Experience with APIs and Middleware (preferred).
