As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in the Platform SRE team, you will lead AI enablement across engineering by defining and driving strategies for integrating AI-native tools into software development workflows. Your day-to-day involves evaluating and building custom AI-powered developer tools to enhance code quality and security, while also fostering tool adoption through training and advocacy. You’ll leverage AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes to automate infrastructure tasks and ensure production environments are scalable and secure. Key skills include proficiency in Go or Python for developing robust automation scripts, experience with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, and a solid understanding of observability practices. This role demands expertise in AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively across teams.
Define and own AI-assisted development standards across the engineering organization.
Evaluate, build, or adopt AI-powered tools to enhance code quality and developer productivity.
Measure the impact of AI tooling on developer productivity and delivery speed through established metrics.
Mentor engineers and uphold high infrastructure quality by shaping best practices and standards.
Contribute to production environment design using AWS and Terraform during support rotations.
Advocate for AI enablement by leading lunch-and-learns, workshops, and documentation efforts.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and building LLM-powered developer tools.
Proven ability to drive tooling adoption across an organization, including change management and training.
Proficiency in Go or Python for production-grade automation, tooling, or libraries.
Expertise in AWS operations and Terraform for infrastructure design and scaling.
