Staff Risk Operations Process Excellence Consultant

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end AI solutions for enterprise risk operations that transform review and decision-making processes.
• Drive 8–10 concurrent projects, including multi-year initiatives, to achieve strategic goals without manager intervention.
• Apply DMAIC and Six Sigma principles to redesign workflows where AI can significantly improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate AI solution designs into clear technical requirements and influence platform decisions.
• Embed model risk and compliance review into every AI deployment to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Communicate complex AI solutions and their business impact to executives through data-backed narratives and business cases.
• Lead change management strategies for AI tool adoption across 400 operators in multiple locations, ensuring effective training and measurement.

What we're looking for

• Proficient in DMAIC and Six Sigma lean principles with Green Belt certification.
• 7+ years of experience leading operational or process excellence initiatives in fintech/financial services.
• Deep understanding of fintech risk operations, including BSA/AML, Reg E, NACHA regulations.
• Strong AI fluency: designing solutions, evaluating models, and partnering with engineers.
• Track record of identifying high-leverage AI opportunities and translating them into concrete designs.
• Ability to drive a portfolio of 8–10 concurrent projects without continuous manager intervention.
