As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on Intuit’s Mid-Market AI team, you will play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of AI-native ERP systems. Your responsibilities include discovering and preparing data sources for machine learning, collaborating with AI scientists to refine features and build training pipelines, conducting A/B tests, and performing statistical analysis to measure model impact. You will also work closely with product managers and engineers to communicate results effectively and explore emerging technologies that enhance customer benefits. The ideal candidate has a strong background in applied machine learning or software engineering, with expertise in Python, data structures, algorithms, and cloud integration using AWS or GCP, as well as experience deploying scalable software for millions of users.
Design and maintain AI systems that enable real business actions at scale.
Cleanse and prepare data for machine learning by discovering and accessing various sources.
Develop and refine features with AI scientists to train and deploy ML models effectively.
Conduct A/B tests, gather data, and perform statistical analysis to evaluate model impacts.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate AI solutions into products.
What we're looking for
6+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning or AI engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
Experience deploying highly scalable software for millions of users.
Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
Experience integrating applications with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
