Intuit seeks a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join its Intuit SBG AI team in Mountain View, where you will lead the development and deployment of real-time generative AI models that impact millions of customers. This role involves tech-leading a scrum team focused on generative AI, driving end-to-end architecture designs, and ensuring high-quality code standards while collaborating with stakeholders to align model metrics with business goals. You will perform hands-on data analysis using large datasets, apply advanced machine learning techniques like NLP and deep learning, and deploy models into production, conducting A/B tests to measure impact. The ideal candidate has over six years of experience in AI and ML, proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, Hive, SparkSQL, and expertise in modern analytical tools and frameworks for building scalable pipelines from data acquisition to model delivery.
Leads technical work of generative AI focused scrum teams.
Designs end-to-end architecture for machine learning models and ensures high quality standards.
Conducts hands-on data analysis and modeling with large datasets to prepare them for ML.
Applies advanced machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems and improve business metrics.
Deploys real-time AI models into production and conducts A/B tests to measure impact.
What we're looking for
6+ years of industry experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on generative AI.
MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent field.
Proficient in multiple ML paradigms including supervised/unsupervised learning, Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
Expertise in advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, SQL, Hive, SparkSQL.
Experience building end-to-end reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery.
Strong communication skills for influencing teams and evangelizing data science across the organization.
