What you'll do

Own the global sourcing strategy for a critical mineral, focusing on supply chain resilience and geopolitical risk.
Build and maintain tiered supply chain mapping to quantify revenue exposure and prioritize intervention areas.
Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and negotiate key agreements with suppliers in volatile markets.
Evaluate and recommend strategic interventions like stockpiling or prepayments to ensure supply continuity.
Maintain expert-level market intelligence, deliver weekly updates, and host monthly cross-functional pod tag-ups.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing with critical minerals exposure.
Expertise in navigating concentrated, geopolitically sensitive supply chains.
Ability to travel up to 50% internationally for business purposes.
Advanced degree in materials science, chemical sciences, metallurgical engineering, or mining engineering preferred.
Experience working on U.S. government programs supporting domestic critical mineral supply.
Strong should-cost and total cost of ownership analysis skills.
Proven cross-functional leadership with influence at all organizational levels.
