Staff Full Stack Engineer, Partnerships Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead the technical design and delivery of partner onboarding systems and APIs for the Fanatics ONE ecosystem.
• Architect and build the Account Linking Platform to connect external partner accounts to fan identities.
• Drive identity provider integrations to ensure secure and scalable connections for all partners.
• Build loyalty program integration systems that allow partners to participate in rewards without bespoke integrations.
• Establish engineering standards, code review patterns, and observability measures to ensure high technical quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on shared APIs, contracts, and architectural development patterns.
• Engage directly with external partners to translate their requirements into scalable platform solutions.
• Improve developer experience by creating better tooling, documentation, and self-service capabilities for partners.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a staff-level or equivalent technical leadership role.
• Strong full stack engineering background across backend services, APIs, and frontend tooling.
• Deep experience designing and building integration platforms, partner APIs, or developer-facing systems.
• Proven experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and identity provider integrations.
• Track record of architecting distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive alignment across engineering, product, and external stakeholders.
• Experience working in a multi-tenant or multi-opco environment.
• Experience with GO and Typescript/React (preferred).
• Experience with loyalty, rewards, or payments platforms (preferred).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures like Kafka (preferred).
• Experience building account linking or federation systems (preferred).
• Prior experience at a sportsbook, fintech, or regulated industry (preferred).
