What you'll do

Develop project designs that comply with critical owner and interconnection requirements.
Prepare and validate calculations related to electrical energy, including impedances and line losses.
Define the scope of required engineering studies/calculations and review results for accuracy.
Track design schedules and ensure critical dates are met on time.
Support RFP process for selecting engineer of record and contractor.
Monitor construction progress both remotely and via on-site inspections.
Perform factory/equipment inspection and witness factory acceptance testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university.
0-2+ years of professional experience in relevant field.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%.
Proficient knowledge of PLS-CADD design software for transmission line design.
Experience with EHV/HV electrical infrastructure, including substations and transmission lines.
Understanding of finite element analysis and power systems/renewable generation.
Strong communication and organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
