As a Qualcomm Cellular Technologies Software Engineer at the senior level, you will join the Engineering Group to design and implement cutting-edge cellular technologies across various prototypes and products. Your daily responsibilities include handling L2-L1 interface operations on the Q6 processor, interfacing with other modem subsystems, and ensuring end-to-end integration. You will work on embedded firmware design under resource constraints, focusing on test-driven development and contributing to SCF FAPI specifications. The role requires expertise in C, C++, Python, real-time operating systems, and multi-threaded programming, along with experience in Q6 development, PCIe drivers, DPDK/IPA, and familiarity with Qualcomm’s development environment tools such as MHI, QURT, and QXDM. This position offers the opportunity to work on 5G NR/LTE protocols at a large scale within a dynamic engineering team.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
Master’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
PhD in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of professional experience.
Experience with C, C++, Python, real-time operating systems, and embedded systems development.
Familiarity with Q6 processor development, PCIe drivers, DPDK, IPA, and Qualcomm’s development environment (MHI, QURT, QXDM).
Knowledge of 5G NR/LTE protocols and SCF FAPI specification.
