As a Staff Engineer on Adyen’s Customer Interfaces team, you will lead the transformation of traditional financial dashboards into intelligent, conversational interfaces. Your responsibilities include driving the development of agentic workflows and backend orchestration to enable natural language interactions that result in secure financial operations. You will act as the primary technical liaison for AI initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with other teams globally while maintaining strict security standards. Additionally, you will partner closely with product leaders to identify high-impact areas where intelligent automation can solve complex merchant problems, and own the full-stack lifecycle from backend services to frontend components. This role requires expertise in Java for secure backends and TypeScript/React/Vue for front-end applications, along with a strong background in applied AI, including LLMs and secure data handling, all while adhering to a security-first mindset.
