What you'll do

Design and build connectors for data synchronization between BlackLine and various ERP systems.
Lead technical design discussions, making trade-offs on technology, functionality, robustness, performance, and extensibility.
Mentor and coach team members, guiding them through complex design issues and conducting peer code reviews.
Implement software development techniques to ensure integration, performance, security, and maintainability of delivered features.
Estimate project scope and timelines, consistently delivering on commitments for highly scalable backend services.
Develop and extend modular applications with various models of extensibility using OO patterns, plugins, external callouts, and events.

What we're looking for

6+ years of professional experience in building web-scale multi-tenant SaaS backend platforms.
Expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
Strong foundation in computer science with proven track record in high concurrency and scalability.
Experience leading technical design, architecture, and code reviews for distributed systems.
Fluent in SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, and transactional flows; experience with ETL tools.
Proven ability to deliver core platform services like API gateway, identity management, and job scheduling.
