Staff Development Engineer - Fulfillment

What you'll do

• Architect and implement highly scalable cloud-native services using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed system issues and lead resolution efforts for data consistency challenges.
• Design microservice resiliency patterns such as circuit breakers, bulkheads, and retries with exponential backoff.
• Build real-time streaming data pipelines leveraging event streaming platforms to meet strict latency requirements.
• Mentor engineers across levels, providing architectural guidance and promoting technical excellence.
• Lead technical risk assessments and compliance validation aligned with security and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate on defining long-term technical roadmaps and shaping functional requirements for engineering outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Over 7 years of software development in enterprise/web/cloud applications
• At least 5 years of backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
• Minimum 3 years of distributed caching and public cloud (GCP preferred) experience
• Proven track record developing microservices-based web services in a cloud-native environment
• 3+ years as a technical lead mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams
• Expertise in designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud services using DevOps principles
• Strong analytical skills to simplify complex problems into manageable components
