As a Staff Data Scientist, Security, you will join the data science team responsible for infrastructure with a specific focus on security. You will serve as a strategic partner to the Security organization, providing senior technical direction on detection, modeling, metrics, and observability while mentoring other data science talent. Your daily work involves leveraging internal telemetry and logs to design secure access controls for sensitive data, developing methods to model and de-risk security incidents across assets and networks, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to detect malicious attack vectors. What we're looking for
10+ years of data science experience or equivalent combined industry and research experience in a quantitative field.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Physical Sciences, or Engineering.
Demonstrated experience leading organization-wide initiatives across multiple teams to influence technical roadmap planning and execution.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes in ambiguous and complex situations.
Ability to balance high-velocity execution with research, statistical depth, and scalable design.
Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate model development, analysis, and coding.
Experience mentoring and investing in the professional development of peers.
Preferred experience working with security teams and implementing machine learning or forecasting frameworks in production.
