What you'll do

  • Build and operate AI Gateway components including authentication, token budgeting, and content guardrails.
  • Develop Harness layer features such as agent orchestration, prompt construction, and memory management across multiple providers.
  • Write production code in Python (FastAPI) and pydantic.ai for LLM-powered components.
  • Implement MCP tool wiring to ensure all agents pass through consistent policy controls.
  • Build and harden role-based skills and agents within the Claude and Gemini Enterprise plugin frameworks.
  • Instrument the platform with metrics, tracing, and audit trails while providing on-call operational support.
  • Create technical documentation and perform architecture and code reviews to ensure high quality and security.
  • Integrate the AI platform with governed data sources and shared architectural contracts across internal teams.

What we're looking for

  • 5 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience building or operating AI and ML infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Strong Python skills, ideally with FastAPI and pydantic.ai.
  • Hands-on experience building production services such as API gateways, internal platforms, or data platforms.
  • Practical experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph and hosted model providers like AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals including clean code, testing, and strong API design skills.
  • Working familiarity with React and TypeScript (preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI deployments such as Claude Enterprise or Gemini Enterprise (preferred).
