What you'll do

  • Design and implement radio networks including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul, and WAN/CEN networks.
  • Conduct high-level customer interactions for design reviews, acceptance testing, coverage analysis, live system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Build out, configure, and test systems in both lab and field environments to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform radio coverage testing, frequency analysis, and interference mitigation to optimize network performance.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including fleetmaps, encryption schemas, and radio programming templates for project teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical discipline and 3+ years of experience, or 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of radio frequency (RF) and land mobile radio engineering principles.
  • Experience with Motorola ASTRO 25 architecture and systems implementation.
  • Proficiency in wireless/wireline communications systems and network protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently on multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant certifications such as GROL, Amateur Radio Operator License, or COMPTIA A+, Network+, Security+.
