Senior System Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, integrate, and test multimodal sensor systems including cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs.
• Develop and implement low-latency perception and sensor fusion algorithms.
• Build precision electromechanical systems for actuation and control.
• Write low-level firmware, device drivers, and work with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Apply machine learning models to solve problems in perception, calibration, and control.
• Rapidly prototype intuitive user interfaces for human-device interaction.
• Prototype and validate novel concepts to influence future product direction.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying robotic systems involving both hardware and software components.
• Experience programming in C++ and/or Python for robotics applications.
• Proven experience in system integration of complex hardware and software (preferred).
• Experience with various sensor modalities and developing perception algorithms (preferred).
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, motor control theory, and real-time control systems (preferred).
• Proficiency with embedded systems development, including firmware, RTOS, and low-level device drivers (preferred).
• Experience applying machine learning techniques to robotics problems or in rapid prototyping for human-robot interaction (preferred).
