Senior Staff Google Workspace Engineer

What you'll do

• Administratively manage the Google Workspace environment, including user lifecycles, group policies, and application settings.
• Secure all company email channels, including security gateways and transactional email services.
• Resolve IT issues and tickets through ServiceNow to provide timely solutions to colleagues.
• Implement security configurations and integrate best practices in coordination with the Information Security team.
• Identify and develop AI-driven self-service solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency and user empowerment.
• Execute formal change management procedures and lead incident response efforts to resolve service outages.
• Drive independent projects by defining requirements, building plans, and managing resources to deliver outcomes.

What we're looking for

• At least 8 years of experience with a relevant professional background.
• Deep, hands-on enterprise-level administrative experience with Google Workspace.
• Solid scripting skills for automation using languages such as Javascript, Python, or Google Apps Script (GAM).
• Proven experience in a Systems Engineer or similar role with a background in IT infrastructure, support, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with formal change management processes and leading incident response efforts for major incidents.
• Experience executing full lifecycle migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace (preferred).
• Proficiency with email security gateways, mail routing, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC (preferred).
• Familiarity with transactional email platforms and experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow (preferred).
