As a Senior Staff Data Scientist in the Customer Success Data Science & Analytics team at GBSG, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to leaders across Customer Success, Product, and Operations, tackling complex business challenges through data-driven insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities include formulating hypotheses, designing advanced experiments, developing predictive models, and translating complex analyses into actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will work with large datasets, build scalable measurement frameworks, and partner closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure high-quality data and reusable analytics assets. The role requires expertise in SQL, Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), and proficiency in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference. Ideal candidates have experience in SaaS or fintech products and familiarity with Customer Success metrics such as engagement, retention, and support effectiveness.
