What you'll do

Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for large-scale data products.
Drive end-to-end solution delivery using ELT processes to acquire, integrate, and operationalize data.
Partner with architects to design and implement scalable pipeline and data product architectures.
Articulate technical risks and trade-offs to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Maintain accountability for physical solution designs and tool recommendations across multiple teams.
Research and implement big data methodologies using AWS, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and Talend.
Evaluate and recommend open-source tools and emerging analytics technologies for production use.
Establish and maintain data engineering practices across all involved teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study.
5 years of experience in a software development or data engineering-related occupation.
5 years of experience in programming, SDLC practices, distributed systems, data warehousing (SQL and NoSQL), and ETL tools.
3 years of experience in CICD, Bigdata, Cloud Technologies (including AWS and Azure), Python or Spark, Datamesh, and Datalake.
3 years of experience in Snowflake and developing/operating production workloads in cloud infrastructure.
3 years of experience in SDLC, including Agile/iterative methodologies and toolsets.
