What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement the LINCS Integrated Knowledge Environment to federate data and analysis tools.
Provide technical leadership and oversee the overall design and implementation of software projects.
Supervise junior engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple project sites.
Develop and maintain production-grade web applications using Node.js and React.
Build and optimize server-side components and APIs for seamless front-end integration.
Define requirements for new features by collaborating with scientists and other end-users.
Manage the release calendar and prioritize features based on effort and team skills.
Act as a product owner to create technical documentation, deployment instructions, and user guides.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer using Node.js and React.
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server-side frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Loopback.js.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience developing and deploying scalable software in research or clinical environments.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with Python, R, Angular, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or data visualization libraries like D3.js or Plotly.js (preferred).
