Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop predictive models using mathematical optimization, discrete-event simulation, and rules programming.
• Create and optimize algorithms to improve performance and infer relationships between events or entities.
• Manage and analyze diverse data structures using Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Dask.
• Maintain a polyglot database environment and associated infrastructure for ISR data services.
• Develop custom ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the system.
• Extend event-driven micro-services and integrate new technologies to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Interface with military personnel and stakeholders to gather requirements and populate the development backlog.
• Build and deploy end-to-end solutions on short timelines to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

What we're looking for

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or immediate eligibility via DISS.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a STEM field.
• Master's Degree (preferred).
• 4+ years of Python or Java programming experience.
• 4+ years of experience designing and programming applications in hybrid cloud or on-prem environments.
• Experience managing database technology, validating data, and developing custom ETL solutions.
• Experience designing algorithms to infer relationships between events or entities.
• Experience with generative AI, MongoDB, Celery, CI/CD tools, and MVC frameworks (preferred).
