Senior Software Engineer, Security Core AI - Agentic SOC

What you'll do

• Build and improve shared AI systems including agent platforms, orchestration, and governed tool use for security teams.
• Develop production-grade AI capabilities across cloud, on-premises, sovereign cloud, and air-gapped environments.
• Design and implement complex components for the Security AI runtime, evaluation frameworks, and trace analysis.
• Build reusable features such as agent execution, context and memory, shared APIs, and experimentation systems.
• Develop agents for grounded reasoning, planning, delegation, human oversight, and safe failure handling.
• Use golden datasets, production traces, and regression gates to evaluate and improve AI behavior.
• Implement security controls including identity propagation, authorization, tenant isolation, and policy enforcement.
• Write maintainable code while contributing to architecture, testing standards, and technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience developing, testing, and/or operating production software.
• Experience in software engineering in production environments using Python and/or Golang.
• Experience developing and operating production AI, agentic, or distributed systems (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, debug, and maintain complex, production-grade systems (preferred).
• Experience with LLM and agentic-system concepts such as grounding, retrieval, planning, and tool use (preferred).
• Experience delivering containerized or cloud-native software across public, on-premises, or air-gapped environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with SOC, SIEM, detections, incidents, investigations, and response (preferred).
• Experience evaluating or adopting shared technologies in large organizations using Cisco, Splunk, or similar platforms (preferred).
