Sr. Security Software Engineer, Security Operations provides technical leadership within the Security Operations team to own and evolve foundational platforms for cloud infrastructure governance, vulnerability remediation, and automated security compliance. The role involves designing and building reliable production services, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code to govern cloud resources and software delivery workflows. You will develop scalable guardrails for identity and access, service hardening, and CI/CD security while integrating vulnerability signals into automated triage systems. Key technical requirements include expertise in AWS security architecture, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code within multi-account environments. The position requires strong software engineering judgment regarding system design, APIs, and reliability to manage security-critical capabilities. You will also leverage AI to accelerate engineering and security analysis while ensuring proper data handling and accountability across the software development lifecycle.
Own the architecture and technical direction of critical Security Operations systems and developer-facing capabilities.
Design and build production services using infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code to govern cloud resources.

Automate the identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the organization.

What we're looking for
Experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems in security engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or a related area.
Strong experience with AWS security architecture, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code in large-scale or multi-account environments.
Experience in areas such as cloud governance, CI/CD security, vulnerability management, security automation, compliance platforms, or developer security tooling.
Demonstrated ownership of complex technical initiatives including defining architecture, evaluating tradeoffs, and delivering impact beyond a single team.
Strong software engineering judgment regarding system design, APIs, reliability, observability, testing, and the operation of security-critical systems.
Ability to influence technical decisions, communicate risks clearly, and mentor others while using AI responsibly.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
