What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Design and implement large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
Define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities in partnership with product and architecture leaders.
Manage and develop Lead Engineers while building succession plans to scale leadership capabilities across teams.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Oversee the delivery of robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, and AWS infrastructure.
Mentor engineering talent and provide strategic direction for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Experience leading architectural design reviews and influencing enterprise-wide technical standards (preferred).
Experience with database systems, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Git-based version control (preferred).
Experience with Java, Python, cloud environments, and AI-based coding tools (preferred).
