As a Sr. Manager of Firmware in our engineering team, you will lead and grow a diverse group of firmware engineers to build reliable and secure firmware across the entire product lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities include setting clear objectives for your team, driving quarterly and annual planning, and ensuring compliance with security standards such as FIPS 140-3. You will also establish robust CI/CD pipelines, collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and manufacturing teams, and manage risk and vendor relationships to meet project goals within budget constraints. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in UEFI BIOS, OpenBMC, IPMI, Redfish, and secure boot mechanisms, along with hands-on skills in C/C++ and low-level debugging. Knowledge of Arm/x86 platforms, embedded Linux, and cloud-connected devices is also essential for this role.

What you'll do
Lead and grow a team of firmware engineers to build secure and reliable firmware.
Own the roadmap execution for firmware development across all stages of product lifecycle.
Establish security standards and ensure compliance with regulations like FIPS 140-3.
Drive architecture reviews for bootloaders, embedded Linux components, and BMC/MCU firmware.
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and validation processes.
Support manufacturing readiness by defining factory programming and golden image workflows.
Manage risk and compliance through telemetry, detection, and recovery strategies.
What we're looking for
Over 6 years of embedded/firmware engineering experience with at least 2-3 years in team management.
Expertise in UEFI BIOS and secure boot mechanisms.
Deep knowledge of OpenBMC, IPMI, Redfish, and various buses/protocols.
Hands-on experience with C/C++ and low-level debugging tools like Git, GDB, JTAG.
Proven ability to develop and implement firmware testing and resolution strategies at scale.
Strong background in secure boot architectures, BMC, SPI/QSPI flash, and runtime firmware.
