Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement rule-based or ML-based logic to serve ads in high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
• Develop and optimize machine learning models for efficient ad selection across multiple media platforms.
• Translate product user stories into actionable technical tasks for both frontend and backend components.
• Enhance system observability by implementing proper metrics, monitors, and alerts.
• Take ownership of specific domain areas within the team's technical scope.
• Develop LLM-based applications using tools like LangGraph, Crew AI, and vector databases.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support systems according to the team's escalation policy.

What we're looking for

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a specific focus on machine learning.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with large-scale ML/DL platforms and processing technologies like Spark MLLib, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
• Experience developing LLM-based applications using providers such as AWS Bedrock, Azure Cognitive Services, or Google Vertex AI.
• Experience with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent frameworks like LangGraph or Crew AI.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts applied to AI/ML technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
