Senior IT Wireless Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Design access point placements for new wireless network deployments.
• Perform wireless surveys to identify coverage gaps and implement remediation efforts.
• Troubleshoot wireless issues across a large enterprise deployment.
• Schedule and perform software and hardware updates on wireless systems.
• Procure and manage wireless hardware inventory.
• Monitor wireless network health using in-house and third-party tools.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of wireless networks across all sites.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or another engineering discipline and professional network engineering experience.
• 7+ years of professional network engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
• Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Vandenberg and Cape Canaveral.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various domestic sites as required.
• Expert understanding of wireless/RF technologies (preferred).
• Experience with CBRS deployments (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco systems, DNA Center, Ekahau products, network monitoring tools, and Linux/Windows administration (preferred).
• Industry standard certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (preferred).
