Senior Engineering Manager, Application Security

What you'll do

• Develop and manage a mission-aligned roadmap for the Application Security squad.
• Build and maintain threat modeling, design review, and vulnerability management programs.
• Create "paved roads," libraries, and guardrails to make secure development the default path for engineers.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of senior-leaning security engineers.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools to scale security workflows and operations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in product, legal, and compliance to mitigate organizational risk.
• Advocate for and implement security initiatives that balance proactive investment with active remediation.

What we're looking for

• Expertise across the application security stack including secure SDLC, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with cloud-native ecosystems including AWS, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Proven experience as a player-coach in managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams of senior security engineers.
• Experience establishing or scaling Security Champions or distributed threat modeling programs.
• Experience leading large team initiatives and concurrent projects in partnership with senior engineers.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted security tools and exploring how AI can enhance security workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including product, legal, compliance, and risk teams.
