The engineer will design bidirectional integrations between Databricks, Salesforce ecosystem tools, web platforms, and third-party services, ensuring secure patterns like OAuth and JWT are implemented for reliability and scalability. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, implementing CI/CD practices, and collaborating with Data Engineering and Marketing Technology teams to onboard new systems and data sources. The ideal candidate has experience with Workato or similar integration platforms, strong Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with cloud-based architectures like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Design and build Workato-based integrations supporting enterprise and omnichannel use cases.
Develop Python code for custom logic, transformation, validation, and operational support in production environments.
Implement bidirectional data integrations between Databricks, Salesforce tools, web platforms, and third-party services.
Ensure secure integration patterns using OAuth, JWT, API keys, and token management standards.
Own the reliability and performance of mission-critical integrations through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
What we're looking for
4+ years experience with system/data integration using Workato or similar platforms.
Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and secure integration patterns like OAuth and JWT.
Proficient in writing production-quality Python code and strong SQL skills.
Experience with cloud-based architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise data platforms (Databricks).
Strong monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support experience for complex systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and release management for integration workflows.
