As a Lead API Developer on our team, you will design and implement secure, scalable APIs for an enterprise data platform in a government cloud environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain RESTful APIs using MuleSoft and AWS services, ensuring they adhere to best practices such as OpenAPI specifications and JSON/XML formats. You’ll also help establish API standards and governance policies while supporting mission systems through real-time and batch integration patterns. Ideal candidates have experience in Java, Python, or Node.js backend development, working within Agile methodologies, and possess a Top Secret clearance along with relevant certifications like IAT Level II and AWS CCP. Additional skills in Terraform, MuleSoft Anypoint Exchange Platform, and data governance frameworks are highly valued for this complex cloud environment role.
