The Sr. Agentic AI Solutions Engineer joins the Software and Solutions Team to design, build, and deliver next-generation Agentic AI solutions on a heterogeneous computing portfolio. This hands-on role involves developing end-to-end workflows using AMD CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, and networking across both AMD+AMD and AMD+NVIDIA environments. The engineer will build multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, and reference implementations while optimizing for performance, security, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include implementing intelligent data structures, improving deterministic AI behavior, and ensuring AI sovereignty through confidential computing and cryptographic techniques. The role requires expertise in ROCm™, AMD Zen Software Studio, and AMD Enterprise AI. Candidates must possess deep coding skills in Python, C, and C++ to solve complex problems involving large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and the integration of frontier foundation models into production-ready enterprise, cloud, and edge deployments.
Translate architectural visions into working customer solutions, reference implementations, and proof-of-concepts across enterprise, cloud, and edge environments.
Build and optimize end-to-end reference solutions using AMD CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, and networking for both AMD and NVIDIA hardware models.
Develop multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks to balance performance, latency, throughput, and power efficiency across heterogeneous compute resources.
Optimize Agentic AI execution workflows including task decomposition, reasoning pipelines, context management, and resource allocation.
Implement intelligent data structures and optimization techniques to improve retrieval efficiency and memory hierarchy utilization.
Develop secure AI solutions incorporating data provenance, attestation, and confidential computing to ensure compliance and AI sovereignty.
Integrate frontier foundation models with retrieval systems, enterprise applications, and hybrid cloud deployments.
Provide technical feedback to internal teams to inform future AMD silicon, software, and platform roadmaps.
What we're looking for
Experience in designing and building Agentic AI solutions on heterogeneous computing platforms including CPUs, GPUs, and DPUs.
Expertise in AI infrastructure, virtualization systems, distributed systems, and large-scale AI platform design.
Proficiency in modern AI software ecosystems including ROCm™, AMD Enterprise AI, and LLM inference.
Experience with data optimization, intelligent data structures, vector databases, and retrieval architectures.
Ability to perform AI performance engineering for latency optimization, throughput, and resource utilization.
Deep coding ability in Python, C, and C++ for performance-critical code paths and profiling.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience as a solutions engineer or technical consultant at a major systems company (preferred).
