Specialist, Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and support AWS workload accounts, sandbox environments, and shared infrastructure across development, test, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation using tools like AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, and Python.
• Engineer core AWS platform components including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, KMS, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Improve security posture through IAM least-privilege access patterns, OIDC, policy controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage observability and monitoring by implementing logging, telemetry, and dashboards using tools like Splunk or New Relic.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide incident response, root cause analysis, and platform reliability improvements.
• Contribute to AWS AI infrastructure initiatives and enterprise-scale modernization projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to identity, networking, deployment pipelines, and resource lifecycle management.

What we're looking for

• Experience engineering and supporting AWS infrastructure in an enterprise environment including IAM, networking, security, and serverless services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, access, connectivity, logging, monitoring, and AWS service workflows.
• Experience implementing secure access patterns such as least-privilege IAM, OIDC/workload identity, and policy guardrails.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver practical infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to manage work in a structured way across testing, change control, implementation, and production validation.
• Four or more years of experience with moderately complex integrated solutions and automation of solution configuration.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field are preferred.
