Specialist, Systems Engineer Control Analyst

What you'll do

• Design and evaluate control algorithms for solid rocket motor throttling and related actuation systems.
• Model and analyze propulsion system dynamics including steady-state and transient performance.
• Develop dynamic models and simulations for aerospace control and controllable propulsion systems.
• Utilize MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++ to perform simulation, analysis, and control development.
• Define and manage requirements at the system, subsystem, and component levels.
• Support ground test activities and hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop testing.
• Prepare technical work products for internal reviews, customer briefings, and program milestones.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems.
• Graduate degree and 6 years of experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Python (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
